BeautiFill Liposuction

What Is BeautiFill?

BeautiFill Laser Assisted Liposuction is an in house surgical procedure that uses cutting edge laser technology to remove and harvest fat from a chosen donor area of the body and transfer it to other areas of the body to increase volume.

Reduce volume, to restore volume. As we age, sometimes we end up with too much volume in some places, and not enough in others. With our state of the art Alma Beautifill, you can restore volume with liposuction and inject your own volume elsewhere.

Treatments performed by Dr. Ronald Higginbotham in a simple and in-office procedure, Beautifill is the first laser-assisted fat transfer technology to gently remove live fat cells from the places you don't want the excess volume, and make them available for re-injection in the places you do.

As always, consultations are always free and we are happy to explain your options in person. Procedures are typically performed on Thursdays and Fridays.

What Does Alma BeautiFill Liposuction Address?

Fat Removal

Fat removal with liposuction in your chosen area(s). Although possible with the machine and set up, we may not offer all areas depending on training we have completed at the time. Dr. Higginbotham has final say over which treatments he will perform and which he will not.

Common areas to remove excess fat include:

  • Stomach

  • Abdomen

  • Submental (below the neck)

  • Hips

  • Thighs

  • Back Flanks

  • Arm Flab

  • Buttox and more…

Restoring Volume

This process uses your body’s own fat that is refined and run through a set of ultra-fine filters to provide a large amount of available volume that can be injected the same way dermal fillers are without the limitations of quantity. Your body will accept and hold onto this filler for extended periods of time since it is uniquely your own.

Common areas to inject volume include:

  • Hands

  • Face

  • Pitted Scars

  • Buttox

  • Breasts

As we age, sometimes we end up with too much volume in some places and not enough in others. With Beautifill you can reduce volume in areas, to restore volume in others.

How Does Alma Beautifill Work?

Beautifill by LipoLife

The Beautifill procedure uses laser energy under the skin to gently loosen fat from problem areas such as the abdomen, hips, flanks, and thighs. The live harvested fat cells are then available to be injected into areas where volume has been lost, including many facial areas and certain areas of the body such as the buttocks.

The crucial difference between Beautifill and other fat transfer methods is how the fat is harvested. Other fat harvesting methods were intended to destroy or discard the fat once it is removed, not preserve it for reimplantation. Beautiful uses a proprietary laser instrument designed to extract the highest quantity and quality of live fat cells for reimplantation. In a clinical study, the fat harvested patients reported greater than 90% fat cell viability. The higher percentage of live cells, the higher chance for cell survival following reimplantation.

The transfer of fat cells can be performed in one treatment, and you can expect to see an immediate difference right away. Most patients will see the improvement last for years.

 Ideal Candidate

Please schedule a phone consultation with us to determine if you are a candidate for the Alma Beautifill procedure to best determine if your desired outcomes meet our offerings.

Is this treatment painful?

Not really. Beautifill is an outpatient procedure performed completely awake and under local anesthetics which avoids risks traditionally associated with general anesthesia. In addition, Beautiful’s laser energy provides the added benefits of less bruising and swelling often seen with traditional liposuction and fat harvesting methods.

How do I prepare?

That depends on the amount of volume you seek to remove and restore. For smaller cases, such as full-face volumization, patients may experience a mild degree of swelling, bruising, and soreness for 24-48 hours, none of which should prevent you from resuming daily activities the next day if desired.
